Dr. Sulmaan Hassan grew up in Saratoga, CA, and understands firsthand how impersonal dentistry can feel. As a child, he spent countless hours in the dental chair dealing with recurring cavities, TMJ disorder, and sleep apnea—and often left feeling unheard and overwhelmed.

He remembers being talked at with fingers in his mouth, being told he had invisible problems he somehow caused, and then facing a front desk bill for thousands of dollars. His teeth felt fine, but he left confused, anxious, and powerless.

No one ever explained the fundamentals of oral health or connected his habits to his recurring issues in a way that made sense. It wasn’t until he met a dentist who took the time to teach and empower him that everything changed. For the first time, he understood how to take control of his own oral health—and that moment became the foundation of his philosophy today.

Dr. Hassan set out to become the kind of dentist he always wished he’d had: one who listens, educates, and empowers patients to take control of their health. Zero confusion. Zero anxiety. Total confidence.

He completed his undergraduate and graduate education at the University of the Pacific, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, a Master of Science in Biology, and a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS). He has since pursued advanced training in dental implants, clear aligners, and cosmetic dentistry - which he loves for their ability to transform both smiles and confidence. Dr. Hassan is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI) and the American Academy of Implant Prosthodontics (FAAIP).

Outside the office, you’ll find him exploring new restaurants, cooking, playing pickleball, practicing yoga, or spending time with his family.

Dr. Mesk Samara’s journey into dentistry began in an underprivileged neighborhood in Chicago, where access to consistent healthcare and oral health education was limited. Growing up without guidance or preventive care, she saw first hand how lack of access can impact confidence and long-term health. Everything changed when she shadowed a dentist who prioritized education and empathy, helping her understand the “why” behind oral health and inspiring her to pursue dentistry with purpose.

Today, Dr. Samara is driven by a deep commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care. She believes in treating every patient like family and approaches dentistry as a balance of science and artistry, creating smiles that are healthy, natural, and thoughtfully designed.

She earned her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences and her Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Illinois at Chicago, where she also conducted research in biomaterials and salivary biomarkers. Her dedication to excellence and leadership in patient care earned her the prestigious Dr. Rice Scholarship.

Outside the office, she enjoys baking, horseback riding, hiking, and discovering new places in the community.
